Philadelphia's SEPTA system connects University City, Center City, and North Philadelphia well. The Market-Frankford Line (El) runs from UPenn's 40th Street station through Center City to Fishtown and Kensington. The Broad Street Line connects Temple's campus directly to Center City in 15 minutes. Most student neighborhoods are also bikeable. A car is not needed for most students at Penn or Temple.
